Ra Medical Seeks Research and Development Technician

SUMMARY

We seek a motivated, mechanically inclined, and self-starting individual for a Research and Development Technician position. This position providess a great opportunity to learn about optics, materials, and electronics. Daily tasks for the position vary depending on priorities, but primarily entail developing and building fixtures and prototypes for electro-optical medical devices and manufacturing.

Requirements for a successful candidate are the following:

-Experience in Mechanical Assembly including the use of mill and lathe, hand tools, drills/taps, drill press, band saw, grind/de-burr, and more
-Read and interpret mechanical drawings. AutoCAD experience is a big plus
-Dependable, punctual and willing and able to travel
-Willing to learn a variety of different trades
-Ability to take direction and ask relevant questions when necessary
-Electrical and electronic experience is highly desirable
-Vacuum experience a plus

We are looking for a motivated person to join our team immediately. This is a full time position working from 8 am- 5 pm. Salary starts at $21.00/hour depending on skill level. Medical benefits are available.
