Ra Medical Seeks Expeditor/Manufacturing Technician

General Responsibilities

  • Check inventory, distribute parts, supplies and documents used in daily manufacturing operations
  • Ensure that quantities in stock are verified quantities in MRP system
  • Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of storage areas at all times
  • Serves as a liaison between manufacturing and the purchasing department
  • Position requires familiarity with a wide variety of electronic components and hardware commonly used in an electro/mechanical manufacturing environment
  • Monitor all open purchase orders and communicate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries

Examples of Duties

  • Assist receiving sector of re-stocking new incoming parts and materials
  • Assist manufacturing when applicable
  • Maintain up to date quantities in MRP system
  • Withdraw pick list for necessary work orders for assemblies and sub-assembles.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge and experience working in stockroom, shipping and receiving environment
  • Must be able to interpret packing slips, shipping documents, and bill of materials
  • Computer skills in Word, Excel and MRP a must
  • Any manufacturing skills such as soldering and assembly work a plus
