Ra Medical Seeks Expeditor/Manufacturing Technician
General Responsibilities
Check inventory, distribute parts, supplies and documents used in daily manufacturing operations
Ensure that quantities in stock are verified quantities in MRP system
Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of storage areas at all times
Serves as a liaison between manufacturing and the purchasing department
Position requires familiarity with a wide variety of electronic components and hardware commonly used in an electro/mechanical manufacturing environment
Monitor all open purchase orders and communicate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries
Examples of Duties
Assist receiving sector of re-stocking new incoming parts and materials
Assist manufacturing when applicable
Maintain up to date quantities in MRP system
Withdraw pick list for necessary work orders for assemblies and sub-assembles.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge and experience working in stockroom, shipping and receiving environment
Must be able to interpret packing slips, shipping documents, and bill of materials
Computer skills in Word, Excel and MRP a must
Any manufacturing skills such as soldering and assembly work a plus
