2006 Profitable Year for Ra Medical Systems, Inc.

Carlsbad, CA – January 26, 2007 – Ra Medical Systems is continuing its growth path, as it announced another profitable quarter ending 4Q 2006. The announcement was not accompanied by details, and was based on un-audited financial data.

Steve Beal, Director of Sales, expressed strong enthusiasm for continued profitability, and commented that “Demand for our high-value laser system continues unabated as we look forward to another profitable year in 2007. Sales in 2006 doubled those of 2005, as was the case for 2004 to 2005.” The fourth quarter of 2006 is the ninth consecutive profitable quarter for Ra Medical Systems. The company has sold lasers in 22 States and 7 countries.

The EX-308 Excimer Laser was exhibited recently at the third annual meeting of Advances in Cosmetic and Medical Dermatology in Maui. On hand to demonstrate Ra Medical’s PHAROS EX-308 laser was Dr. Nathan S. Uebelhoer, Director of Laser Surgery at the Navy Medical Center in San Diego. Dr. Uebelhoer shared his positive clinical experiences at the interactive and hands-on workshop.
