Ra Medical Systems Celebrates Entering its Ninth Year of Operation and FDA Inspection Completion

Ra Medical Systems, a privately held California corporation, is celebrating its ninth year of operations. The company was founded in September 2002, and has now established itself as a leader in the medical dermatology market. Its flagship product, the PHAROS EX-308 excimer laser, has become a leading laser therapy for Psoriasis and Vitiligo and is operating in offices, clinics, and hospitals around the globe. According to the National Psoriasis Foundation, the disease affects more than seven million Americans. The National Vitiligo Foundation states that over two million suffer from vitiligo.

Ra Medical Systems has also received notification from the US Food and Drug Administration that the most recent inspection of our manufacturing facility has been closed.

The successful inspection was conducted to ensure that the PHAROS EX-308 product, the manufacturing facilities, and manufacturing process are in substantial compliance with FDA regulations. The inspection was conducted earlier this year, and was in accordance with FDA Compliance Programs 7382.845 “Inspection of Medical Device Manufacturers”.
