Ra Medical Systems Invests in New Production Capacities
Carlsbad, CA June 1, 2011 -- Ra Medical Systems, Inc., one of the world's leading developers and manufacturers of high-performance medical excimer laser systems, today announced that it has installed a 500 sq ft, Class 1000 and Class 100 clean room. The acquisition and installation of these facilities will provide an increase in the manufacturing capacity and quality for the Company's current and future products, including the PHAROS EX-308 Excimer laser for treating dermatological conditions.
"The clean room facilities add tremendous new capabilities for our soon-to-be-released new products," said Jim Laudenslager, PhD, Director of Research and Development at Ra Medical. "This investment reinforces Ra Medical's commitment to further strengthen our position in medical device manufacturing," he added.
Ra Medical expects the clean room to be fully operational Summer 2011.
