Ra Medical Systems is a publicly traded, medical device company focusing on developing its excimer laser and catheter system to treat vascular diseases.  This role is responsible for assisting the engineering and quality departments. This includes assisting on projects related to research & development, manufacturing, quality engineering and process engineering.


  • Executes fundamental research, design verification, or process verification and validation testing including writing protocol and test reports, under instruction from qualified engineer(s).
  • Contributes to cross functional teams for completing activities such as Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA), design control, or other activities as required.
  • Completes documentation for all projects to ensure FDA and global compliance with requirements.
  • Writes preventative maintenance procedures and executes IQ/OQ/PQ for manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to manage assigned tasks and small projects per scope and timeline.
  • Willingness to learn and apply Engineering principles.
  • Organized and structured with an ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.


  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.


  • Completed or enrolled and pursing Bachelor’s Degree (BS) in Engineering
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
